Consign1 is a company committed to giving small and medium businesses worldwide a high-quality, highly secure solution for managing business transactions and records digitally — outside of the traditional software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. That solution is the Peer Attested Transaction (PAT) system.
What is the PAT system?
PAT is an under-development, free-to-use transaction management system built on innovative blockchain technology. This is not another cryptocurrency project! Instead of a ledger of tokens, the PAT system is designed to provide users with contracts — cryptographically signable, verifiable, and immutable.
This has trade-offs against traditional models like Bitcoin and Ethereum, but the main advantages of PAT are clear:
To do this, PAT enables endless local blockchains rather than one monolithic global chain. 'Tokens' in PAT contracts represent real-world agreed monetary amounts instead of their own abstract value — unaffected by the swings and uncertainty of the cryptocurrency markets.

A core principle for Consign1 and the PAT development team is equality: a PAT contract should be recognisable and operational globally. Any user, from any site running their own PAT node, should be equally able to find a contract, verify it, and sign it if they want to attest to their participation in a transaction.
